Carrier Compatibility & IMEI FAQ
Is this phone unlocked?
Yes. This is a global version and it's unlocked, so it isn't tied to any one carrier. You can use a SIM from any carrier or MVNO (a smaller carrier that runs on a bigger network) whose network supports the phone's bands. Unlocked doesn't mean it works on every network, and support for any specific carrier is unconfirmed.
How can I check if it works with my carrier or MVNO before I buy?
Compare the supported bands with your carrier's network: 2G GSM 850/900/1800/1900, 3G WCDMA 850/1900/2100, and 4G LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 20, 28A/B, 38, 39, 40, 41, and 66. Then confirm with your carrier, or its bring-your-own-device checker, that it will activate this model. Matching bands don't guarantee service, and support for any specific carrier or MVNO is unconfirmed.
Are there IMEI limitations?
Some carriers check a phone's IMEI (its unique ID number) against a list of approved devices, and they can refuse to activate a phone that isn't on it, even when the bands match. We can't confirm whether this model's IMEI is approved by any carrier.
What SIM does it use, and is one included?
It takes Nano SIM cards and supports Dual SIM Dual Standby, so two SIMs can stay ready for calls at once. The supplier hasn't confirmed that a SIM card comes in the box, so plan to use your own active Nano SIM.
What if my carrier says the IMEI is incompatible?
That means the carrier won't activate service on this phone, even if the SIM fits. You can ask a different carrier or MVNO whether it supports this model, or contact us before you buy, and we'll share the supplier information we have. We can't guarantee activation on any carrier.
